Young pianist Havryil Sydoryk was born in 2009 in a suburb of Kyiv, Ukraine. He began playing the piano at the age of six at the Kyiv Jazz and Variety Arts School in the classical music department. At seven, he also started playing the violin, a year later the flute, and then began composing music. In 2022, due to the war, Sydroyk had to leave Ukraine. Initially, he moved to France, where he studied for a year at the Paris City Conservatory, also learning the French language during that time. In 2023, he relocated to Tallinn and began studying at the Tallinn Music and Ballet School, where he is still enrolled. His piano teacher is Age Juurikas, and harpsichord teacher is Reinut Tepp. In addition to piano and harpsichord studies, Sydoryk engages in composition and violin playing. He has also mastered the Estonian language in just a few months. Sydoryk has achieved success in several competitions, including winning the Estonian Television competition Klassikatähed (The Classical Stars) 2025.
